Kube-bridge spitting out errors - nextcloud involvement

Let it be known that I am a complete beginner in all things TrueNAS and this is my first experience with setting up something like this.

I am trying to install nextcloud on my TrueNAS SCALE system. I followed the official guide and I got (almost) to the end successfully. The problem is that in the apps menu, my nextcloud instance is permanently stuck on “Deploying” and stopping and restarting it several times has done nothing to help it.

If I remember correctly (this was a couple days ago) as soon as I clicked the install button after setting all my parameters, a few errors popped up on the system. They haven’t stopped. A few of them pop up every 2-3 minutes at varying intervals, at varying amounts, and in a slightly different order. But the main content is always the same and it looks something like this:

Blockquote
kube-bridge: port 1(veth44a03232) entered disabled state
veth44a03232 (unregistering): left allmulticast mode
veth44a03232 (unregistering): left promiscuous mode
kube-bridge: port 1(veth44a03232) entered disabled state
kube-bridge: port 1(veth44a03232) entered blocking state
kube-bridge: port 1(veth44a03232) entered disabled state
veth44a03232 (unregistering): entered allmulticast mode
veth44a03232 (unregistering): entered promiscuous mode
kube-bridge: port 1(veth44a03232) entered blocking state
kube-bridge: port 1(veth44a03232) entered forwarding state
Blockquote

A couple of seconds after all of these errors pop up all at once, the 9-option menu prints a few times and they “go away”.

There is only one other post that I was able to find (which was on the old forums) that describes something like this and the problem turned out to be the fact that the user had installed the Truecharts version of the Nextcloud app and they fixed it by installing the one from the official catalog. That can’t be the issue in my case since I haven’t even enabled the Truecharts catalog and I installed the Nextcloud app from the official one.

I tried uninstalling nextcloud and the errors have still not stopped (so maybe this is a system-wide problem that I need to fix?). That’s the state the system is in right now - with nextcloud uninstalled.

Thanks in advance for any help:)

You are using an old deprecated version of TrueNAS as you are using Kubernetes

Upgrade to the latest version and use docker
