Need help wiping disks - Error: [EFAULT] Failed to wipe disk sda: 'ID_PART_ENTRY_UUID'

I am setting up TN Scale and when I am attempting to add my hard drives to the pool, I’m getting this error when attempting to create the pool:
- Error: [EFAULT] Failed to wipe disk sda: ‘ID_PART_ENTRY_UUID’

I have no idea what this error is regarding, but I was thinking that it has to do with the fact that these hdds are being reused from another device and may had been previously partitioned. Because of this, I tried to wipe each of these drives individually, but I keep getting the same errors.

Here is my setup:
Motherboard: Supermicro X10SRL-F Intel LGA2011
CPU - Intel Xeon E5-2650v4
Memory - 32GB (4x 8GB) Micron /HP MTA18ASF1G72PZ PC4-2133P DDR4
Storage - 2x 500gb Seagate Drive (have more already, but thought I’d reuse these since I was given them)

Additionally, these hdds are plugged in directly to the motherboard, not through an hba card.

Thanks

I got this resolved - I think the drive had several partitions on them. I downloaded ubuntu server on another device, attached these drives, and then reformatted the drives.
