Qbittorrent not downloading anything (edit: not TrueCharts)

Describe the Operating System
TrueNAS Scale 24.04.2.2

Describe the Hardware Platform
AM4 Motherboard
1 4TB HDD (redundant data)
1 256 GB SSD (this is where TrueNAS runs)
Describe the Network
Connected via UTP, has a IP reservation

What’s Happening and How Can We Help?
This PC is purely a seedbox. All it needs to do is download torrents to the 4TB HDD and seed them when I power it on. Nothing else.
I’ve installed Qbittorrent via Truecharts, I can see the webview just fine.

The problem is when I add a torrent in the web client it never does anything. I’ve tried all the network interfaces in qbit settings → advanced.
The only thing in the client I’m not sure of is the fact that it says ‘connection status: firewalled’ at the bottom.

Application is running as user ID 3000 and group ID 3000 which are both user/groups which have full permissions to write on the dataset with path /mnt/qbit/qbitseeddata. Both the group and the user.

Anyone have any idea what is going wrong, torrents are just never starting

How? Truecharts pulled their catalog months ago[1] and haven’t supported TrueNAS as a platform since May or June. I’d otherwise point out that this isn’t their support channel (that would be their Discord), but given the unsupported state of TrueNAS by them at this time, I doubt you’d get any help there either.[2] Although their apps were, by any reasonable measure, much better than what iX put out, I think you’d be better off removing their chart and installing iX’ version of that app.

  1. Yes, mirrors of their repo are available–but if you’re using those, you’re well into “you’re on your own” territory, and you really should have known that. ↩︎

  2. …which is why they pulled their repo; they didn’t want new installations on an unsupported platform. ↩︎

Ok maybe there’s some misunderstanding or confusion, here are screenshots of the application

Hoping this progresses to help solve the problem, thanks!

It doesn’t. Please post the screen shots here rather than linking to third-party sites.

This is how it looks in the applications page of TrueNAS

That’s from the official TrueNAS community train, not TrueCharts, which was a separate third-party app catalog

Thanks for the clarification! I must have gotten the names mixed up from when I earlier did this kind of setup.

I can’t edit my first post or title alas, yet the problem still remains. I can’t download anything in this web view, torrents are simp^ly not starting

I updated the title for you
