I just now noticed the notice, which was added just two days ago, and I upgraded 3 days ago 
For now rolled back to Dragonfish-24.04.2.3 and everything works just fine 
Not sure though if this is related to the mentioned SMB issue. Doesn’t look like it is, but I’ll stick around with Dragonfish for the time being
