I’ve got LSI 9400-16i but i’m not sure if i need LSI/Broadcom specific cable set or Supermicro/generic will work? Any experience?
I’m looking for SAS to 4xSATA cable.

I have used the generic cables from amazon just fine.
It’s a standard.
Make sure you get “fan out” cables.

Pay attention to the type of plug at the card. While all SAS to SATA cables are plug in compatible at the drive side SATA port, there are several different type of plugs at the SAS host card. (8643, 8087, etc). Look at you host card specifications to make sure.
