SFP+ and my observed 1500 cap

In my SFP+ network, I observed a ~1500 cap.
I either send 900 and get 400, or get 350 and send 1100, or some balance of those examples.
Is not a managed network either.

Inexperienced as I am and clueless of just why would this happen my question is: what x4 card(s) can I use to standardize all my PCs.
All are regular PCs, no server grade anything.

If you give me an amazon link to it, better

Are those packets, Mbps, bullets…? Did you run an iperf test?

…just plugged a PC I have ( XPS 8930 w/8700k ) and is good.
XPS8700K

So I guess I should get me those QLogic cards in every PC.
Edit: that card pull almost 20 watts when working continuously ( testing )

Edit2: made a RAM disk and tested: ( same brown border PC )

…the relevancy of the RamDisk is that it also reads slower than write

Still, if y’all have ideas, I’d like to hear them

Run iperf tests to see if it’s a network issue: if it’s not it could be a pool performance issue or a NIC issue. Your last test might point out to not having enough RAM, but we don’t know you system specs so…

Ah, and if those results are accurate you have 75 Gbps during reads and over 100 Gbps during write: they don’t seem realistic to me, especially with a 10 Gigabit card.

Don’t run CrystalDisk, transfer a large file (ie a 40 GB video).
