Can we skip Electric Eel and hop right over to Fangtooth from Dragonfish?
If you’re going from past questions, e.g. going from angelfish or bluefin direclty to dragonfish or EE, the answer from iX was always to go from one major release version to the next and not to skip any.
Fangtooth is not even in Beta yet. You can install the in development code but I would not suggest it run in a system that you care about right now. Beta is supposed to come out in February. I installed it in a VM to play with.
@Rob_Kamp as LarsR highlighted our recommended upgrade paths are to install the last previous major release, skipping releases is not recommended, we always place the upgrade path information in the release notes, see this link for Electric Eel:
