SMART Test Passed with errors. Time to swap out disk?

Champion. Thanks. Yes, i changed the drive.

Ok, I had some errors on my boot drive so I replaced it with a brand new ssd. Thing is, the multi-report test comes back (after 15min in system) with a wear level of 64. How is one to interpret that number please?

Unfortunately this is where I must ask you to run the script from the command line and use the switches -dump emailextra which will send me a dump of the drive data so I can see what is going on.

Unfortunately not all drives report nicely.

What can you do right now? Well one thing comes to mind…
Edit the configuration file a bit, but first…

What is the output of smartctl -a /dev/sdh ID 177, 233, or whatever value represents Wear Level. What is it’s value?

If the RAW value is proper then you have an option in the config file to use the RAW value. I tried to take into account every possible manufactures way of representing the wear level data.

If you run the -config and select Advanced, Custom Drive Configuration, and answer the questions. That may fix it for you. If not, toss me the dump data.

Let us know how it goes.

Report sent, thanks mate. Information you asked for here:

Also i did a scrub on the boot pool via the GUI and multi-report now it reports this… Is my ssd DOA you think?

Analyzed the data, suspect the drive is either fake, poor quality control, or infant mortality. The drive is in fact reporting 64% wear level is available, and after only 4 power on hours? Advised the OP his options as I see them, and all of those have to do with replacing the drive.
