Update error due to link.storjshare.io

Hi Guys,
I sadly don’t find anything what is current.
We use Watchguard and our TrueNAS-Scale installation now produces an error.
Our Watchguard informs us that link.storjshare.io was tried to call and that this is a suspicious domain.
The error comes from DNSWatch, so nothing we could influence directly.
I found so far that it should come from ipV6, but I deactivated it within the network-settings.
Sadly, it doesn’t help.
And on top, the normal update.ixsystems.com also seems blocked too.
Did anyone else got this error, and could I do anything (I think not since the domain is listed as “phishing”)?
Thanks before.

This sort of behaviour is not unusual when you have systems like Watchguard installed and it is by design. In essence, Watchguard would rather be over cautious and allow your administrator to approve exceptions than to be under cautious and for users to catch a virus etc. And because of the numbers of domains worldwide, they likely get put on the Watchdog blacklist by consolidating other people’s block lists, and it only takes one person sending a fake phishing email and spoofing a fake TrueNAS email address for it to get onto a phishing block list.

(It has nothing to do with IPv6 which (like IPV4) is numeric in nature has nothing to do with Domain names (with DNS providing the link between the two).)

So you need to explain to your Watchguard administrator why your system needs access to these domains, and why these domains are legitimate and properly managed, so that they can set up exceptions for you. (I suspect that both are related to automated checks and downloads of new versions of TrueNAS.)
