Web interface could not be accessed check network configuration

as a heads up quite new to all of this

specs

dell OptiPlex mini, 4gb ram, 250gb ssd boot, 1tb storage, intel core i3 8th gen

I have gone through the installation process and have gotten to console setup and it says web interface could not be accessed check network configuration

I cant add a new NIC as its a mini so I would assume it needs a static dns and such

would like to check before going down this rabbit hole any help much appreciated and mods if this is in wrong place pls tell me where to go pls

Hardware guide shows 8GB as min RAM. Do you know if the network was working previously, even under another OS. Default TrueNAS OS install should be trying to use DHCP. Give it a reboot again and see if it comes up. Verify the network ports and cable work with other computers.
