Which GPU would anyone suggest for my nas that is under construction i have a DELL T5820 XEON W-2125 With 16 gb ram i am running IMMICH JELLYFIN PLEX and a few more help please

If you need it for transcoding, then AFAIK intel is a king (performance/price-wise).

If you pick NVIDIA, just be aware of recent driver changes and the supported models.

Support for some earlier cards has been dropped from the drivers by NVIDIA. Do you have questions on the linked announcement? The first post also mentions the current Intel ARC support status near the end of the first post.

I’d very much recommend some Intel ARC GPU - if you jjust want transcoding and such an A310 Eco would be great. It’s small, efficient and more than enough for some simultaneous 4K transcodes.
Do upgrade the firmware though.

You need to be more detailed in your replies. What is not listed on what github page? Can you post a link or something so we have a better idea what app or apps you are referring to?

The Intel ARC GPU isn’t listed on the NVIDA github page because it’s made by Intel, not NVIDIA. As written in the post @SmallBarky linked above, 25.10 includes support for Intel A series cards using a separate driver.

But Intel GPUs are heavily optimised for efficient transcode.
Otherwise, you could just throw the task at the W-2125.

Quadro P line is not supported anymore.

P1000, but i use it in a VM so it doesnt matter if truenas supports it.

I bought the Sparkle Arc A310 ECO and have been happy with it. There was some initial hesitation because several Amazon reviews mentioned not being able to swap out the bracket without damaging the heatsink. But it turns out those reviewers were illiterate.

I have seen multiple notes about the fan noise. But, honestly, the MacBook Pro I use for work is way louder. Like a jet engine. The Arc 310 ECO is barely audible in my setup.
