I have looked through a few forum and reddit posts but cannot seem to find a definitive answer.
Why did Truenas /IX transition from NoVNC to SPICE? I genuinely don’t understand any logic behind it. NoVNC worked and it worked well, especially the web console. I cannot say the same about the built in SPICE client, I don’t know who maintains it but it is such a buggy pile of crap and the bugs have existed ever since the transition and nothing has been fixed on it.
