Just for information I have upgraded Truenas 24.10.2.4 to 25.04.2.6, hoping that the kernel will have the required drivers for the intel 2.5gbe nic when I get it. I’ll also reset my router .
Can’t see the top portion of that photograph, but it looks as if your network settings for the card user the same gateway IP that you set the card to.
I.E. your new NIC is set to 192.168.0.42/24 and the gateway IP to the same. So it’s trying to reach out via itself.
The gateway for that IP (191.168.0.42) in a /24 subnet should be (likely) 192.168.0.1. Or that second IP block might be the network settings instead of gateway which would be 192.168.0.0/24
Since you showed the DHCP range provided by your router in another post, and it was between 60-something and 254, that almost certainly means the .42 IP is statically assigned. Which is probably preferred for a NAS, but you still need to ensure you have the correct gateway.
You can get that from why other PC (or your router of course.) Would help if there was more of the photo near the top part that’s cut off to see what those columns actually are.
This should give the full picture. It was Name, Aliases, State,Aliases.
