After getting the Plex App installed and configured I was asked to add a Media Folder. When I do, I select “Movies” as the category and then the language. The Language selection is a drop down with empty with no entries in it. I can’t move forward until I select a language, so I can’t add the Media Library.
Has anyone had this same issue? If so, is there a workaround?
Thanks,
KS
Sadly it is working for me - try different browser/clearing cookies & cache?
At worst try, right click, click ‘inspect’ on the drop down & add an option manually to see if that unlocks ‘Next’.

<option value="en-US" selected="">English</option>
Doing this on my end confirms to modify the Language options & keeps the ‘Next’ Button unlocked & now showing only things I’ve added:

Otherwise if all of this fails, might be worth Asking on the Plex forums.
Further edit: Maybe you’ll have luck with inspecting the ‘Next’ button & just enabling it (if you see ‘disabled’ anywhere in the line for it, just delete that).
Other than trying a different browser/delete cookies & cache these are (likely bad) workarounds & I have no clue if it’ll cause any further issues in the future.
Thanks everyone for your help. The problem fixed itself with a new update. All good now.

Even better than my crappy workarounds!
I liked your train of thought here.
Adding a language option did populate, but didn’t enable the Next button.
Removing ‘disabled’ from the Next button did make it light up and appear to click, but no actions were taken. I am curious why my Plex no longer lets me add new Libraries.

I had the same issue, however plex update/rollback didn’t help.
I noticed in truenas plex app logs the following error:
OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: ‘/config/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Logs/PMS Plugin Logs’
I logged on to Truenas Plex CLI and ‘Logs’ folder had root owner assigned instead of plex like the rest of the folders.
Additionally ‘PMS Plugin Logs’ folder was missing.
After creating PMS Plugin Logs folder and giving ‘Logs’ and 'Logs/PMS Plugin Logs folders plex ownership, the language field got populated and the issue was fixed.
No idea how this issue started as initially Plex worked fine.
