Can’t access Scale by IP, but can access VM running on Scale

Hey guys, Dummy here!

So I’ve been running Truenas Scale for almost a year now for apps like jellyfin, arr apps, adguard, and home assistant. I recently thought that migrating home assistant to a VM running HAOS would be a good idea to start integrating ZigBee devices into my home.

So I setup my VM on a bridge and installed HAOS on the VM. I was able to setup my SLZB-06 coordinator and several zigbee devices on home assistant using zigbee2mqtt. My zigbee system is running great!

My problem is that after about 12 hours of everything running fine, my Truenas Scale device is not connecting to my router. It still shows the same IP address on console, there are no conflicting address assigned on the router, but I can’t reach the webUI through browser from any device connected to the network. Oddly enough, I can connect just fine to my HAOS VM.

I consider myself a complete novice when it comes to Truenas, most everything I setup was by following video tutorials. I might be searching wrong, but I couldn’t find anything on this issue previously mentioned.

Any direction on where to start troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated. Turning the entire network off and back on again didn’t work. :joy:

Let me know if there is any other information I can provide that would help!

It was a problem with the bridge. Deleted it through the console, everything went back to normal except it obviously killed my HAOS VM connection. Going to go find the correct docs to get the right settings for the bridge. So if anyone has a link to a great doc for setting up a bridge, send it my way!
